I haven't taken pictures in so-fucking long. Honestly, I was beginning to think I'd completely lost the knack, but then I managed to come up with... this. I'm incredibly fond of how it turned out, and the pictures are pretty, damnit. XD Anyway, they're pretty huge (800x640), so if your internet is slow... I apologize.

Gorgeous overgrown garden, I can just picture a decrepit mansion to go with it :D I once tried creating a park with those plants, but it slowed my computer down too much. Gah.

I've seen these two sims so many times in your pics, I just gotta ask: who are they?

Thank you! I'm quite shocked my game wasn't groaning at the amount of shit that got thrown down on that lot, but it was a pleasant sort of shock. :D

The guy is Damien, the eldest of three brothers whom I've had simulated since 2005. His "character" has been around for a lot longer than that, though. :) And the female is actually my self-sim. It's a long-standing tradition in my shoots that my self-sim either kills someone or gets killed. XD

It never ceases to amaze me what talented and creative people can do with this game. This is just gorgeous, the whole thing, from the setting, the atmosphere, the composition and the colours all go so well together to tell a story. Very beautiful worl gelydh.

Thank you! I have problems 'just-taking-pictures', as they never seem to come out the way I want them too, so I like to have some kind of thread going to make it work. I haven't been able to do that in awhile, unfortunately, so I was incredibly pleased to have completed something I actually liked. :)

Bloody hell, that's gorgeous. The pictures really are incredibly pretty, and it's one helluva garden that's for sure. Love the atmosphere of the whole thing too; tense and kinda macabre.

I wish my pictures had allowed me to work in all the background details that you don't see much of; I had a derelict graveyard in one corner and an executioner's plaza in another. XD Thanks!
